1. What is the School of Christ?
Jesus said, "Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature." (Mark 16:15) This one verse sets forth the ultimate goal of the School of Christ. The School of Christ is about life. Though knowledge and doctrine are included in our learning, these are nothing without the manifest life of Christ in the believer. The school proceeds from the principal that the creature is here to contain and manifest the Creator.

2. I know someone in prison, how can I get them involved in the SOC Correspondence Course?
We have many who write in and request that a family member in prison be enrolled in the Correspondence Course and we are happy to take these requests. Please remember that each facility has a different set of rules for what an inmate can and cannot receive via the mail. If you would like us to enroll an inmate into the School of Christ correspondence course, you must send us their complete mailing address which includes the following information.
1. Full name they are registered with in that facility.
2. Their inmate number used by that facility
3. Dorm and Bunk number if required by that facility
4. Full name of that facility
5. Complete mailing address of that facility
Most facilities will return the course to us if the mailing information is inaccurate or incomplete which cost this ministry in postage and materials. E-mail enrollment information to randy@schoolofchrist.org and we process the information right away, or you can write us at the address below.

3. How does your Correspondence Course work?
Our course is self paced and usually takes anywhere from three months to six months to complete depending on the individual student. The Course consists of 156 lessons in 19 series and covers a wide range of Biblical doctrines of fundamental faith. This is not an elementary course and will require a lot of reading, but the knowledge gained cannot be compared with any other Bible correspondence course. Four packets will be mailed to the inmate which includes an exam for each of the 19 series. Once completed with at least a 70% overall grade average, we will mail them a beautiful Certificate.

4. Does the SOC Correspondence Course cost anything for inmates?
No, we provide everything, even a stamped envelope to return their tests in. There is absolutely no cost to any inmate as long as they are currently incarcerated. Once they have been released and wish to continue the course, there is a small cost. By this, we are able to continue sending the course free to those still incarcerated.

11. What are the inmates saying about the School of Christ Correspondence Course?
The testimonies coming from inmates in prison facilities all across the country are incredible. The power of God to change a man completely is the testimony of the School of Christ. Here is just one such testimony,
"Your Bible study doctrine is solid and hard, exactly what we need, not the weak teaching that is so prevalent in here. Guys here want saved from hell, but not a hell lived lifestyle. They say their saved, I ask, saved from what? We need to hear what we don't want to hear!"
