The Prison Correspondence Course

"The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;" Isaiah 61:1
The great paradox of prison ministry is that a man can be incarcerated yet totally set free. This is the work and ministry of the School of Christ Correspondence Course, to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and to lose those who have been bound. The testimonies that come in from our students every day are a witness to the fact that though men are behind bars, they can be completely free.
The lessons of the Correspondence Course reveal God's word with such authoritative power that the Holy Spirit is free to move with deep conviction causing men and women to break under the anointing of spiritual of truth. Jesus said my words are Spirit, and when presented accurately, the Word Is Life. (John 1:1-4)
Further lessons reveal the power of the blood of Jesus Christ to set men free and heal the broken heart. This however is only the beginning, as these men and women are born of God in prison, they begin to see their calling of God to be missionary's right where they are and fulfill with purpose, a life once bound and lost.
The vision of Pastor Clendennen, like the apostle Paul, was to make disciples of men, that they might become missionaries carrying this Life to those around them. Life bringing forth life, like a mighty river. We have witnessed this very thing over and over in prisons all across the country.
Now the School of Christ Correspondence Course is in over 1,160 prison facilities in 41 States across the country. We have never had a greater demand for the Correspondence Course materials in the prison system. The impact of the School of Christ in our prisons has triggered such an incredible revival among the inmates that only heaven can bear accurate witness.
We still have much work to do while it is yet light and deeply covet your prayers and support. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man not only avails much, but moves the heart of God who moves the universe.
